For the past nine years, Retro Tablo has been a successful local business that creates high-quality wooden wall decors for both wholesale and retail customers. While Retro Tablo has been able to grow their customer base organically, they needed a better way to manage their wholesale orders and customer orders. To address this issue, Retro Tablo partnered with me to create a custom UI/UX web design project that would help the company better manage their wholesale and customer orders. The project aimed to create a streamlined system that allows customers to easily request wholesale orders and track their orders throughout the process. Additionally, customers would be able to review their orders and repeat orders from their order history. I worked closely with Retro Tablo to develop a user-friendly and clean web design solution that met their needs.
I was responsible for developing a custom UI/UX web design project for Retro Tablo. My goal was to create a streamlined system that allows customers to easily request wholesale orders and track their orders throughout the process. Additionally, customers would be able to review their orders and repeat orders from their order history.
To understand Retro Tablo’s user needs, I conducted interviews with the company’s current customers and wholesale buyers. I also conducted online research to gain a better understanding of the current market. This research helped me gain an understanding of the user’s needs, their behaviors, and the overall market landscape.
The scope of this project was to create a user-friendly, intuitive web design solution that meets the needs of Retro Tablo’s customers. The solution should allow customers to easily request wholesale orders, track their orders throughout the process, review their orders, and repeat orders from their order history.
To create the best possible solution, I applied the Design Thinking methodology. The Design Thinking process begins with understanding the user’s needs, conducting research, generating ideas, and testing prototypes. Using the gathered data, I was able to develop multiple design concepts and prototypes to test. Throughout the Design Thinking process, I continued to refine my designs based on customer feedback, until I arrived at a solution that met Retro Tablo’s needs.
The end result of this project was a streamlined user interface and user experience that allows customers to easily request wholesale orders and track their orders. Additionally, customers can review their orders and repeat orders from their order history. The application of Design Thinking methodology in this project ensured that the final design was user-friendly, intuitive, and met Retro Tablo’s needs.
