Deed Mobile Gamification

Challenge Objective

Design a digital app concept that gamifies and rewards users for accomplishing positive actions, such as volunteering or donations, while emphasising the collective impact of individual deeds.

Core Concept

DeedChain is built on the premise that every good deed contributes to a larger chain of positive actions. By performing deeds, users not only earn personal rewards but also contribute to broader community goals and can witness the tangible outcomes of their contributions.

Key Features

1. Points

Digital points awarded based on the type and impact of the deed.

2. Badges

Unique badges earned for different types of deeds and milestones.

3. Community Chain

A visual representation of the collective impact, growing with each deed performed by users.

4. Challenges

Weekly or monthly challenges that prompt specific deeds for bonus points.

5. Stories

A platform for users to share experiences or stories from their deeds.

6. Leaderboard & Tiers

A system that ranks users based on their accumulated points and promotes friendly competition.

7. Impact Tracker

A feature that provides users with real-time updates and stories on the tangible outcomes of their deeds. For instance, if a user donates to a tree-planting initiative, they can receive updates on the growth of the trees, photos of the forested area, or even testimonials from local communities benefiting from the initiative.

**This feature is designed to strengthen the emotional bond of users with the activity. While they can engage in the activity through gamification features, they also have the ability to track and reflect on previous activities they've participated in.**

User Experience

Users are encouraged to select, complete, and document deeds, earning DeedPoints and badges in the process. They can view their contributions to the community chain, participate in challenges, and engage with others through shared stories and leaderboards. The Impact Tracker further deepens their connection by allowing them to see and feel the real-world outcomes of their good deeds.
