This case study examines the process of designing a user interface and user experience for a real estate listing website.
The primary goal of the project was to create a site that was intuitive, easy-to-navigate, and had a modern look and feel.
As the only designer on the project, it was my responsibility to lead the design process from start to finish. This included conducting user research, mapping out the site structure, and creating wireframes and functional prototypes. I also worked closely with the client to ensure the product met their goals and expectations, and was able to make decisions and adjust the design based on feedback.
The team started by conducting user research to better understand the needs of the target audience, and to develop a better understanding of the user journey. This included interviews, surveys, and user testing to identify key points of friction and areas of improvement.
Using the research, the team was able to create a site map that outlined the structure and navigation of the site. This map was then used to create wireframes and functional prototypes that could be tested with users.
The team then iterated on the designs based on feedback from user testing and from the client. This included making changes to the look and feel of the site, as well as optimizing user flows to make the site easier to navigate.
Throughout the process, the team worked closely with the client to ensure the end product met their goals and expectations. After multiple rounds of testing and refinement, the team was able to create a modern, intuitive website that met the needs of the end user. The end result was a successful and optimized real estate listing website that met the needs of the client and the target audience.
