This case study examines the process of designing a user interface and user experience for a car service management system website. The system helps car services track their repair process, client info, and stocks, and allows clients to track the service status of their car.
The primary objective of this project was to create a site that was intuitive, easy-to-navigate, and had a modern look and feel. The goal was to make the process of managing car services as efficient and seamless as possible for both the service provider and the customer.
As the sole designer on the project, I was responsible for leading the design process from start to finish. This included conducting user research, mapping out the site structure, and creating wireframes and functional prototypes. I also worked closely with the client to ensure the product met their goals and expectations, and was able to make decisions and adjust the design based on feedback.
To better understand the needs of the target audience, and to develop a better understanding of the user journey, I conducted user research. This included interviews, surveys, and user testing to identify key points of friction and areas of improvement.
Using the research, I was able to create a site map that outlined the structure and navigation of the site. This map was then used to create wireframes and functional prototypes that could be tested with users.
I then iterated on the designs based on feedback from user testing and from the client. This included making changes to the look and feel of the site, as well as optimizing user flows to make the process of managing car services as efficient and seamless as possible.
Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to ensure the end product met their goals and expectations. After multiple rounds of testing and refinement, I was able to create a modern, intuitive website that met the needs of the end user. The end result was a successful and optimized car service management system website that met the needs of the client and the target audience.
